This homeowner in Aliso Viejo, CA was looking for long-term garage storage but also wanted something easier than constantly getting up and down a ladder. A combination of motorized and fixed ceiling racks makes excellent use of the available overhead space while providing different options for storing items based on how often they need to be accessed.
The motorized overhead rack makes life especially convenient—no ladder needed! Controlled through an app, the rack raises and lowers so stored belongings can be brought down when needed and sent back overhead when they’re not. Paired with fixed ceiling storage for long-term items, the finished setup helps keep the garage organized while making overhead storage much easier to use.
